Massterly is a ship management company, dedicated to remote-controlled and autonomous vessels, with or without crew.

Massterly crew in front of the two ASKO Autobarges, together with godmothers and Norwegian cross-country stars Marit Bjørgen and Therese Johaug.

With a staff of close to 30 experienced, curious and solution-oriented captains, navigators, engineers and electricians, and access to additional resources from Wilhelmsen Marine Personnel, Massterly is well positioned to take on any new challenge within our field.

Chief Executive Officer

Tom has more than 20 years experience from Kongsberg Maritime, when joining Massterly he held the position as VP Head of Autonomy Program

He has also been product manager of Kongsbergs Dynamic Positioning Systems, and worked in Asia as Regional Support Manager.

Tom has a Bachelor in Robotics and has sailed in the Norwegian Navy.

Chief Operating Officer

Roger started in 97 as deck trainee and climbed the ranks up to master on diving support vessels. Bringing Massterly more than 25 years of a broad experience in the maritime sector from container, shuttletankers, and various offshore service.

Started as HSEQ and operations manager and participating in the setup of DOF management pte,ltd, and moved from there to HSEQ manager in Wilhelmsen, before engaged as COO in Massterly

Chief Product Officer

Kristine has extensive experience in various roles related to ship approval, environmental protection, project management, and performance management of vessels.

She has a Master in Maritime Technology from NTNU and is certified a Project Manager from Prince2.

Chief Technology Officer

Ragnar is educated as Master Mariner and have a broad experience.

He has been sailing as Captain since he was 26 years old.  He has experience from general cargo, submarine, seismic and extensive work as HSEQ supervisor and Vessel Manager 

Ragnar has been with Massterly since 2020 when we started with the Yara Birkeland project, supervising the build at the Brattvåg yard.

Chief Growth Officer

Roger has worked his whole career within the maritime industry and Kongsberg Maritime. starting as a service engineer, and project manager before more than 15 years within sales, marketing and business development.

As a marine electrician, and with a bachelor in robotics and a masters degree in management Roger is a self proclaimed potato.

HSEQ Manager

Stig brings more than 25 years of hands-on maritime experience. Climbed the ranks from able seaman to captain. Worked within the passenger and seismic areas,

Started with HSEQ in 2018, in Petroleum Geo Services, when was part of setting up a Japanese affiliate. When Stig joined Massterly he held the position as safety manager in Color Line.

Vessel Manager

Kim has a bachelor degree in maritime economics and leadership, writing his bachelor thesis about autonomous ships.

Experienced Captain from the seismic industry within PGS and TTS, also worked as HSEQ field support manager in PGS before joining Massterly.
