Hamburg. SMM 2024 (Shipbuilding, Machinery and Marine technology trade fair).
The Norwegian maritime magazine Skipsrevyen has just announced the winner of Ship of the year 2024:

Reach Remote 1, built by Trosvik Maritime for Reach Subsea.

The Kongsberg Maritime designed, remote controlled USV (Unmanned Surface Vehicle) is only 24m long, but packed with technology for seabed mapping, inspection and light maintenance tasks offshore. Reach Remote will cut emissions by 90%, simply by reducing the size of the vessel needed for these tasks.

Ship of the Year 2024 goes to a vessel which not only offers many technical innovations, but which in many ways sets a new standard in its class.
— From the jurys verdict

Congratulations to Reach Subsea, Kongsberg Maritime and Trosvik! Massterly has truly enjoyed participating in this project, and we do look forward to the continuation of this cooperation.
